I think its an improvement.

It happens if you open a thread from the "root" page and use the Re:Whatever link. It then takes you to the most recent post, i.e. at the bottom.

If you click on a threads title in the relevent section it starts at the top

Ya, I think he is saying that if you open a thread from the "Discussion Group - Forums" (Main Page), wich tells you who last posted in that thread, you will go to that last post. Does that make sence?
If you are in a fourm such as 'Help' and you go into a thread from there, you will start at the top, and have to scroll down.
But if you are on the (main fourm page) and see a thread "'pages open at the bottom...'-Whoever," then clik on that, you will go to the bottom of the thread where Whoever posted.

Are you getting this?

i speak durbs 100% on this one.
I actualy find that it helps and can save time, it also saves bandwidth cos it cuts up a page you dont have to look at if thats the thread you were initially going to.

ok thanks guys, now that I now how it works I can see that it's a good thing and can save time scrolling etc.
