I have a bunch of friends in the Maryland suburbs... I'll send you a PM next time I plan to be in town and we can get together. I head down to visit people every few months or so. Until then, try searching the meet others section.

Drop me a line thugh zej@gwu.edu, i really wanna find some other people who are starting up and whatnot.
