Hello... I'm Bam... and I'm not sure what to write here. I am a juggler... not necessarily a very good one, but I try - and I enjoy it. Mainly club juggling, but really into fire juggling and my next step is to get some knives. Put 3 or more objects in my hand and I will try to juggle them...

I don't try to be strange, stuff like that happens naturally...

Name: Bam

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK, Earth

Hometown: Bodmin, Cornwall

Birthday (sign?): Capricorn (January)

Age: 23 (ish)

Sex: I'm a lady

Occupation(s): I design, and make stuff pretty (Product Designer)

Favorite Food(s): Italian food....

Favorite Color(s): Red, Black
(and Yellow, because I love Spongebob Squarepants)

What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? African or European??

Toys: Clubs, Fire Clubs and Balls...

Hobbies other than the obvious: Mountain Biking

Education: I have some mild intellengence, provided by the good people at Bournemouth University. I have a BA degree in Computer Aided Product Design

Favorite Book(s): Read it yourself, The Enormous Turnip, All of Karin Slaughters stuff, Some of Dean Koontz stuff, Jeff Abbott - Panic, Mitch Albom, The five people you meet in heaven, Jean-Dominque Bauby - The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.

Favorite Movie(s): What dreams may come, Spongebob Squarepants, Monty Python, Austin Powers, Pirates of the Carribean, Ice Age, Shrek, etc etc...

Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why?
Would definately be Godzilla... because the Star Wars Star Destroyer, is for the purpose of destroying stars, now although Godzilla is big, he is not the size of a star, therefore the star destroyer would not even see little Godzilla coming and he would just stomp on the star destroyer.

Favorite TV show(s): Spongebob Squarepants, Family Guy, Whose Line is it anyway (US version), Simpsons, Futurama, Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends,

Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up)
Wow... I have to decide, right here.... right now?
Well, my biggest aspiration was to go to University... but I've done that now, and I'm currently at the stage where I'm deciding what next to do with my life. I'm currently working as a product designer, designing various things.
My big dream is to travel.... work in all sorts of different countries, experience different cultures... and see if I can find one worse than Britain.
After that I just want to learn all sorts of new things, which is why I'm learning to juggle.
The most important thing for me is to have lots of stories to tell about all the crazy things you've done... I just need to do some crazy stuff first.

Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Anything from System of a down to Handel to Pendulum to Kenna (and most things in between)

Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? I'm not wearing pants... so probably not

Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Chocolate or Butterscotch

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?*
NONE OF THE ABOVE.... Marmite is wrong.... I've never tried Vegemite, and don't plan to... and I hate nuts.

I don't try to be strange, stuff like that happens naturally...

Whose Line is it anyway (US version),

you prefer it to the uk version? granted it has its moments, but old uk ones are far superior.

the us version seems to always descend into one big ryan stiles/colin mochery gay joke

clive anderson is much funnier than drew carey

welcome to HOP

Hullo!

And yeah sorry, but the UK WLIIA is way superior, except for some of the musical bits smile

I like the UK one... don't get me wrong. It is a tad random how we're discussing a TV programme on a Poi and Spinners site... but hey, I'll go with it. I'm always up for a good debate.

My arguement for preferring the US version is mainly down to the 'games' they play. It's quite different to the UK one, and I find they get a little repeatitive, and take themselves far to seriously. I like how silly the US version gets.

Spongebob rocks....!! I'm almost as excitable as a child and Spongebob is right up there in priorities for the day. As for Fosters... I'm impressed that someone else is aware of this great cartoon.

Thank you for all the welcomes.... I can tell I'm going to like it here.... smile

i really dont get that?

the mainstay of the guests in the same now as it was before, the only major difference is wayne brady

i dont see how people like tony slattery et al took themselves too seriously????

I've got Dave and I do watch it....

And going back to what you said earlier... I don't think Clive Anderson is funnier than Drew Carey... I think it's the other way around.

People like Tony Slattery consider themselves more like actors, which I don't particularly find very funny when watching WLIIA....

i generally find drew carey a bit too predictable, bit too obvious.

i find that happens with the US version too much.

as i said before, it always descends into a ryan styles/colin mockerie gay joke, which gets boring pretty quickly

Mmmm... cookie. Yes please.... biggrin

No, foolishly I did not look around first I was merely looking for some friends that I met at a Poi, Staff, Spinners and Juggling group. (No I haven't found them yet... hehe)

I just wasn't expecting a debate to be started over my 'choice' of TV viewing.... ?? But this has been fun... I think I may start some more debates to keep myself amused while I'm at work.

Thank you again for all the welcomes.... juggle

Awwwwwwwwww yeah! I watched an outstanding episode last night where everyone went to this theme park but bloo was trapped by an old woman in a knitwear store and just gradually goes insane. Comic timing at its simple best biggrin

You'll probably find yourself falling into plenty of non-spin randomness. It helps with the spinning related randomness though.

I don't get much opportunity to watch TV at the moment, as I'm working so much... or out on my bike. But I've been trying to watch some 'Fosters Home' on the net. I currently have Fosters Home Desktop and ringtone.... so at least I'm getting my fix somewhere.

I am loving the amount of non-spin randomness going around... It's certainly making work more interesting.... "Hmm..." *ponders to self*... "I need to procrastinate... lets see whats going on in the world of HOP..."
