After a few years of spinning and abusing this site, I finally got round to actually joining! Hurrah!
I think I started spinning poi just around 3 and a half years ago, thanks to my brother and a friend who taught me juggling and got me interested in this kind of stuff. Now I focus more on staff after learning from Sethis when I came to university 2 years ago. Just started learning doubles, and rediscovering how painful metal poles can be...
I'm always keen on meeting more spinners, so if anyone is near York let me know.
Ok, so I'm an idiot and didn't read the "read this first" thread before writing the above. So here's the answers:

Occupation: Salsa teacher...of sorts
Favourite foods: Custard creams dunked in tea
Favourite colour: er...Is fire a colour?
What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? Ni!
Toys: Staff (x3), poi, powerbocks, unicycle, juggling balls (x8), clubs, diabolo, nunchucks...Could keep going...
Hobbies: Salsa, if you hadn't guessed. Gymnastics as of a few weeks ago.
Education: Doing a maths degree, and regretting it
Favourite Books: Steven Erikson's Malazan Books of the Fallen
Favorite Movie(s):Include Pan's labyrinth, LotR, Donnie Darko, Garden State. There are far too many
Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why? Star destroyer SO easily! In seconds! Just because!
Favorite TV show(s): Heroes, Who's Line is it Anyway?
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up): Not a clue
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Varies quite a lot. Nightwish (new and old), the Postal Service, Cat Empire, Incubus, Death Cab for Cutie...
Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? Define "too big"...
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Phish Food, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?* oooh...Is it on toast or bread or what? Marmite on toast, Nutella on anything else.
