Just got addicted to this wonderful thing known as Poi a little more than a month ago. So far I've gone through two sets. My first spinning set, a poorly crafted but sturdy rubber set with ribbons, and now my rainbow ultra poi that I recently purchased from this site.
This truely addictive craze is taking up at least a half hour to an hour every day for me, even procrastinating on much needed college homework just to spin. But besides poi, this is what I'm usually up to-
I live in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Which is right across the harbour from the more widely known Halifax. I go to school at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, majoring in Interdisciplinary studies. And at this very moment I'm heavily procrastinating on my homework for class. I'll do it later, I swear.
I do a heck of a lot of art. Usually focusing around drawing and photography, as well as a fair amount of digital manipulation when the inspiration hits. I love to eat, nap, art it up, give backrubs (with my glorious crystal tools), spin poi, and have long intricate conversations about off the wall topics. I'm a pretty easygoing person, and can be seen as quite unusual by most. But that's a part of my charm.
I'll be here all week. Any questions?

Occupation(s): Art Student, and trying for a winning career in golf course grounds maintenance.
Favorite Food(s): Alaskan Snow Crab, Dark chocolate, Filet Minon Steak, Bacon Wrapped Liver, oh, and na'an stuffed with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, and smoked salmon. That stuff is the taste equivalent of a religious experience in your mouth.
Favorite Color(s): Cobalt blue
Toys: Royal Jubilee, Rainbow Ultra Poi, McFarlanes Dragons, not to mention my pens and sketchbooks...

Favorite TV show(s): Rocko's modern life, the maxx, aeon flux, Watership down- basically all the cartoons that were too adult for the children, so they pulled them off the air.
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up)
Live in a box. You know, cut out a few nice windows, seal them in with packing tape. I plan on having a shiney duct tape door.
AKA- Living as a working Artisan.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Clint Mansell, Kronos Quartet, Trent Reznor, Red Sparrowes, Pelican, Tool. Actually let's just leave it at Tool. They're just plain awesome.
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Heavenly Hash (made with pecans, not walnuts) and chocolate monkey fudge

Marmite and vegemite are two versions of a marvelous spread only really clever and amazing people like.
It's sort of like that stuff we had to sniff in biology, where depending on your genetics you can either smell it or you can't.. If silly people try and eat marmite, or vegemite, it tastes all yuck.
