Inno-what? wink

Aimée, quick question about your drawings.

How do ya get it all done? I'm currently trying to get a web comic (immensly sad, no? wink My intro thread has the details) and I am struggling horribly. Mostly with the website building.

Do you just scan the images, or do you give em a quick edit useing some program or t'other?

Cheers smile hug

thorth and der der?

I draw out the body by hand, then its a mixture of Image folio, PSP8 and MS paint (cor, professional) to get the bodies, text and borders on

Whats going to be in them these comics then? Your intro is soooo far away tongue

I have no idea how much they cost.

I tried to send an email to the seller, but it came back as "undelivered". Lame...
To be honest, I don't much care for the price. I want it. That is all wink

On another note, whilst I was in prep supervision ( a supervised seesion where all the bad kids do there prep wink ) I started doodling on my english folder.

Eventually, I came out with a small comic strip of two guys with staves.

Being a huge ass fan of webcomics (www.ctrlaltdel-online.com and www.vgcats.com are great ones) I though to myself it would be good fun to start my own up...

Watch this space...

Its still on my english folder.

Knowing my drawing skills, I'll never be able to replicate them properly.

Having said that, the design of the characters are very simple.

Anyone played madness? The faces are very much like that.

The bodies are basically cylinders. We have one skinny cylinder (name of character undecided... sex is also undecided... but he'll mostly be the fall guy in all the joke and stuff and girls in pain isnt as funny as guys wink ...) and one slightly fatter cylinder (guess who? wink ).

The arms and legs are what you could accuratly cool stick man limbs. So basically straight lines.

Despite the simplicity, I quite like the way it looks... I have a few strips planned ( I *really* should have been doing my prep)... now all I need is a website to put it on (I reckon geocities for the time being till I can find something cheap and cheerful) and we're away.

biggrin

Right... I've been sitting at my desk, trying to draw the first strip. I have exactly what I want in my head, but it won't come out on the damn paper. There are countless screwed up pieces of paper littering my floor.

I fear its become a fire hazard....

I'm going to keep at it though. I don't want to come up with a good idea just to get bored with it cos its to difficult like what I normally do. Like most things in life, it'll take percevearance.

Should anyone see me cutting corners, you have permission to hit me. Lightly mind.... and then give me a hug of encouragment. wink

biggrin

Sweet biggrin

Right, I now have webspace for DWS.

Its a geocities page, which is hugely lame in every possible way, but dangnammit, its a start smile

https://www.geocities.com/dickswivsticks

Course, you won't be able to do anything there, cos I'm still messing around with things, but I'm actually pretty excited. This is the first project I've actually had any motivation for.

This is all feeling pretty damn good smile

*bangs head on desk*

Having said that, I'm now feeeling fairly frustrated. Working on the title page, and the amount of tools I have avaiable to me are quite low. Geocities has few decent templates and I have to design everything from scratch. My background currently sucks, and I'm working on the Title text in photshop because geocities doesn't have the font that I want.

Bah.

I now hate photoshop and its over complicated ways. Paint is easier, but it sucks ass too.

Beggining to feel a distinct hatred for computers at the mo...

That's basically the story of DWS so far....

Yes but whats "very high sensitivity" lol? Maybe I'll just get three months of normal sensitivity and pain ubblol

I originally was going to do it when i turned 18. BUt I eventually thought "If I really pierce something every two years I'll look like swiss cheese..."
So maybe the rule is double the previous time. Hmm, missed that one too....

ubblol..... I"m being silly

I think another thing I'm worried about is it aready seems as if bras don't do a good enough job hiding them sometimes, ... and it seems as if having them pierced will only make that worse....

My nipples are amazingly sensitive. Sometimes (in wildly inappropriate circumstances...like, oh, say...at work) my shirt will rub across my nipples and I'll get this quirky look on my face because it just...does something for me.
