linden: you'll have to say the thing about accents above 'e's a little slower, cos i still can't work it out. i know what an alt key is, and i know where the 'e' key is, but i don't get what i do about 'gr' confused sorry for being inept.

Kay... try this then... too the right of a space bar, there is a little key with Alt Gr on it... press that, and e, and see what happens smile



if that fails, you'll have to go with copying and pasteing Aimée's name from her posts smile

nah, i don't have an Alt Gr button on the right of my space, i've got, my space bar, Alt, windows symbol, a symbol with a page and arrow, then Ctrl. cut and paste it is.

use the alt key to the right of your space bar tongue
press the e and the alt at the same time biggrin

failing that use the left alt key hold it then type 1666 é
alt+1666=é (16666 = →) and (166 = ª)

@myco: what browser/operating system are you using?

Left alt and 0233 on the numpad works for me, using winXP home and IE.
Your mileage may differ.
