Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too.

Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.

Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing. biggrin

back is a bit better. Still very aware of it, and a little pain, but generally on the mend biggrin

I'll see snow one day I'm sure...I've seen fake snow at the snowdome when we went snowboarding in milton keynes...does that count? ubblol

I'm anti-symmetry. I've got most of my piercings and tattoos on the left side of my body..the thing is with the next one do I keep it to the left or is it time for the right to see some action ubblol

hmmm, i guess whatever feels right..

ever since someone pointed out the whole symetry thing to me, it really matters to me. not so much exactly, but i need my body to feel in balance i guess. like, i wear a bracelet on my right wrist, and that (in my mind) is counter balanced by an anklet on my left ankle. even the thought of getting the eyes of buddha (which i *really* like) tattood makes me feel unbalanced because of the way the nose curves tongue

good luck with your choice smile

im still awaiting my 4th piercing.. need to find a good piercer, and gather the money smile

actually pete, even though the nose bends to the left, most of the circle bti is in the right, therefor its balanced wink

that may be true in an analytical sence, but in my own mind (which is where it tends to matter on these things) it *feels* like its weighted to the left, despite actually being even smile

ears and toungue are my limit. The face stays metal free, the belly button doesnt like it (i've had it done twice) and anything south of that is out of the question. The nape of my neck is an option but Lees already got that done and that would just seem like me being a copycat...
