hi all
i have been here for bout six months, and finally decided to do an intro.
hi, im pete, petey, pineapple pete and various other things. born 5 / 4 / 89. living in melbourne.
I do alot of poi, bit of staff, bit of doubles, cross staff and fire eating. i want to learn rope dart, flynt got me hooked, and im tryin to self teach 3 section staff.
I like: fire, magic, juggling and all things musical
dislikes: seafood *ick*
ive been doing magic for a bit over a year now. i do alot of sleight of hand card magic, aswell as coins and anything else i can get my hands on.
in my spare time i like to do escapology. I can pick my way out of a pair of US police handcuffs in under 10 seconds, and get out of a straight jacket underwater

hamamelis - damn you shoulda smuggled some pot seeds xD could have made yourself some money!
in glasgow airport they had been telling us all to throw our lighters and matches in a big bin...i was already in line when i noticed, so i asked the attendant guy to toss it for me and he said naaaaaaaaaaaaah just keep it =D
but then they took it from me when i got to chicago before my flight to hartford =( pricks.
as a side note, i am thoroughly amused by the switch of e/i pronunciation by ozzers/nozzers....Brett sounds like a short name for Britney...and Britney sounds like someone getting inventive with the name Brett xD

It's quite legal to bring in pot seeds.. just not to grow them when you've got 'em here.
Though I was coming back via Malaysia, who probably have a slightly different view on such matters..

hehe! ran into jen indeed i did! twice so far in fact.. once at a juggle jam in london, then again at firegathering festival.. it was her birthday at firegathering too, so i got to say 'its your birthday!!' to her all day
would be lovely to have you here too kitten.. maybe one day hey hows ooni treating you.. heard it was a bit hardcore at the moment :hhhhomp: hehe, southern lights.. already volunteered and paid for my bus there

yeah, you too mister brenn.. see you at play indeed.. am looking forward to that.. as well as you seeing my twirling after missing the gradual learning curve for 3 months
having a great time so far mr george! been meeting tonnes of hoppers and other lovely people.. getting heaps of time to work on my poi, juggling and (recently started) asalato.. youtube it if you dunno what it is.. the weather has been particularly nice to me as well.. lots of blue skys and really green grass
so.. my next major plan is me in germany, via london.. gotta pick up a few things in london (and will be staying with coleman and bammers) then off to feuerkunst berlin.. should be awesome indeed

ahh the double inverted weave... i know what you mean now and have no ida why i didnt know what you ment... i think when you totally flatern in out to butterfly plains (forwards weave goes to backwards butterfly and backwards weave goes to forwards butterfly) I think it is possibly a antispin thread the needle... but i dont know.... however it is most definately a butterfly THING!

ooni.. yeah! well ooni is off, i'm at school atm = 5 week teaching prac in mt.gambier! And I guess all I can say is it's.. interesting.. and challenging.. but I'm finding I'm hardly procrastinating at all ( a first!) so maybe that's saying something. and i'm learning lots of things about things and people and everything in general

i spent november last year through til april this year doing manual labour doc.. so i was basically lifting boxes of vegies 6 days a week.. i have muscles id try and get a photo of my muscles/ego.. but im heaps too lazy

sooo.. i wandered down to hsbc (my uk bank) today, to pick up my debit-card-thingo.. the one with half of all my money on it.. i pick up the card.. no dramas.. i get home, open up the letter, there's my card.. fantastic. so i dig through the miscellaneous reading material theyve given me, trying to find my pin, and after a quick phonecall i learn theyve posted it to australia.. on the other side of the world from me..
this'll be fun..
