Good advice all round, thanks people. I'm doing more with my eyes closed and it's starting to help already. And a camera would also be a good way to reduce my camera fear, so maybe one...

"These are great to spin have a simple good-looking design are durable washable and reasonably priced. It's good to be able to choose your own weight - I use rice in a balloon which is great. If you've only used double loop handles before don't worry - the big single loop is comfortable to loop round your fingers in way that feels like double loops. The fabric is a little tough but gripping it properly you should never get chafed hands."

"Can't imagine swinging the flowlights without these. They give protection (both for the light and your head!) a little weight and make the light trail appear slightly brighter. For those that prefer heavier poi (easier to stall / isolate) I also recommend the extra weight sleeves that go on top of these crystal cases."
