Why do people who call the wrong number insist that you and not them must be in fact mistaken as they could not possibly have dialled the wrong number.

I go door-to-door come hell, wind, or high-water. On stormy days, I just love the blokes who tell me "Try to stay dry!" Thanks, I didn't think of that before, maybe I'll just dodge every flippin rain drop from here to the next door! Bumbling fools.
