Resolutions put too much pressure on people. You should just try to relax and enjoy your life.

Take the time to answer these questions and while you giving yourself the answers know that if you choose to focus in the year 2010 and act upon those answers you will give to yourself an amazing year full with joy.

• What makes you happy at work?
• What makes you happy at home?
• What makes you happy with your friends and family?
• What makes you happy when you're by yourself?
• What do you love to do?
• What would you do with your life today if you weren't afraid of failure?
• What's not working in your life?
• What are you currently doing that prevents you from experiencing joy?
• What's working in your life?
• Who's not working in your life?
• Who in your life is subtracting value from and adding misery to it?
• Can you fix any of these relationships, or should you let them go from your life?
• What relationships are working in your life?
• If we were getting together one year from today, what would have to happen for you to be able to tell me that you now have more joy in your life?
• What's the single most important thing you've learned about yourself as a result of answering these questions?

You'll find that by putting your answers down on paper, they'll become clear more quickly and the actions you need to take more obvious and easier to initiate.

I want to wish you a joyful year and may you get connected with your truth in the year of 2010.

Yeah I read the first little bit of that and didn't bother with the rest cos it's a load of crap.

More money WOULD make me happy.

More money would mean I could move out my parents' house and I KNOW that would make me happier.

more money would make your parents disappear? you could take cable cutters, stroll your neighborhood at late nights and become an eco terrorist get caught and go to jail... many topics covered so easily

Umm yeah, that's crap. More money would let me catch up on old bills and my messed up credit. Could fix my broken car that is right now essential to my life because I live out in the country and couldn't commute on bike. I could afford to go to the doctor, find out if I'm healthy or if I'm sick in some way. Hell and all of that is even before using money to enrich my life or to buy fun toys. Been craving a pair of fire poi for a while now, but simply can't afford it in the wake of a lot of other priorities. I dunno, it seems like some of the people who adamantly declare more money won't enrich your life are people who are living comfortably and can afford to have all their basics covered in some way.
And why do we have to wait until that specific day to resolve change? Why not right now, or in the middle of July when the mood and the will come?

I need to save money a lot better.
I am going to join the gym.
I want to be slightly more emotionally more stable (no need for pills or anything)
And, finally, i am going to be more friendlier to a lot more people

eh - plenty of people earn 'more money' and still get in more and more debt. I think perhaps learning how to handle it better would solve many people's problems. I'm sure if we think about it we all know people who are very 'money poor' but are happy.

money /= happiness.
