Education: Medical student currently doing a PhD because it means I get to be a student for two more years

Favourite Movies: Requiem for a Dream, American History X, The Shawshank Redemption
Favourite TV shows: Too many to list (I make time for TV

Plans for Life: Qualify as a doctor some day whilst still finding enough time to spin. Hope to work outside the UK as soon as possible.
Favourite Music: Anything that's not cheap pop or RnB. Favourites = Tool, Deftones, Jeff Buckley... (too many to remember)

Hi guys, I'm Tommy (we may have met in Gwithian) and this is my new account (finally managed to hunt down and terminate the old useless one).
As many of you kindly wanted to sponsor me for the marathon I'm running THIS SUNDAY

I'm running for the Anthony Nolan Trust who do great work in finding donors and funding research for people with bone marrow disorders (e.g. Leukaemia). Hmmm... actually I think that "charming" (or rather, befuddling the builders with my erratic manner, incomprehensible babbling and insistence that hooping is the most refined art form known to man) untill the just give in and give you the damn tubing to make you shut up and leave them alone is way superior to just getting your hands dirty.
And plus, I DID go skip diving once,.. unfortunately I couldn't reach to get into the skip, so my job was to catch the stuff Tommy and Paddy threw down... just as important a job methinks

Things are all good now, I completely fsu**ed up an experiment today and still got results. Now THAT's good karma.
However, my good karma ran out at spitz where it was so cold that the skin on my knuckle split and I nearly bled into someone's christmas peanuts (I had to wipe off the rim, not for the first time I might add).

hey dude! How goes it? any progress with the campaign for the cloisters?
on the subject of split knuckles: you have my sympathy: 4 of my knuckles started bleeding the other day through a combination of cold, chalk dust (from teaching using blackboards) and staff
luckily one of my students has given me some handcream which seems to work pretty well!

Err, cloisters campaign has moved on slightly... we have now been given 7 pm as a start time, though the cloisters have been booked up for alot of mondays this term, so technically we aren't booked in every week. Though I intend to use them every week anyway. Cos I don't care. Cos the university is rubbish. Cos I'm bloomin fed up!
