wave Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too.

Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.

Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing. biggrin

I'm not really sure to be honest, I have the day off, so there is a possibility I may be very drunk very early...in whichg case I would want to go home earlier, but it also depends on how many people show up as my flat is friggin tiny! But it's not a problem, my house and the pub are on the same road, and about a 2 minute walk apart! If I were to hazard a guess, I think we are meeting at the pub at 20.00 and then back to mine around 23.00...although there is also a posibility of flitting between the two.Pm on it's way to you for my address! And it's free parking in my area this time grin

The idea of going to the pub is fading now, I've worked out that there are about 25 people coming, and we have made plans to seat that many, so we may just stay at mine. grin

Thank you so much for coming to my birthday Mynci, it's always good to see you!

Well I'm back! - no thanks to all the snow! Never flying through Libiya again...I'm not going to go through it all now, but lets just say there was some unpleasantness getting to South Africa. South Africa was good, though half sunny and half cloudy with wind and rain is not exactly what I was expecting and did put a little bit of a damper on the holiday. Didn't get as much chance to impress Ben with the beauty of Africa as I would have liked, but he asked me to marry him all the same, so that managed to cheer me up some. grin Spent much time indoors which is not what I planned and didn't eat half as many granadillas as intended due to a lack! A frigging lack! Didn't get to catch up with all my old friends either which was a shame. Oh well back to ice and cold and work... lucky lucky me!

I'ts good to be home though smile

hug

Congrats! hug

It has stopped raining, but still not overly sunny.

no problems princess *hug* you are one of the few I will always make the effort for - not that others aren't worth it but because I'm rubbish and need at least 1 person to think I'm not (and good if that person has influence laugh3 )

congrats again on your impending nuptuals we better get good seats if you have it in the UK - I like chicken for the meal but as I don't drink you shouldn't have a free bar, and plenty of warning so I can save up for a gift tongue2

other than that have fun being the boss of your fianceé during the day - Ben seems a strong husband.

The wedding will be next year summer time and defenitly in the UK Mynci boy, so start preparing! Though I very much doubt youll get your chicken, and a free bar is out of the question anyway- we are poor! It will probably be more like camping in a field somewhere and eating cold buffet than a fancy princess party.

wink

We are going to do our best to miss all the festies as a lot of our mates are festy going people...as are we! Will probably be more like the start or end of summer to be fair, but we will have to see. It has to be warm though or my dad won't come! laugh3

I've replied to your proposal my dear, Shouldn't be a problem to work something out, but I will require 1 or 2 strange requests like grouphug from everyone.

Do you need T-shirts for the Hen do? I can arrange stuff like that for you too laugh3

Bril, will check Facebook when I get home. Thank you! Have managed to convince most of the girls, but some are going to take a bit more work- but I'm sure we will get there, since I'm kinda good at applying pressure grin

It will be so much fun! It will be much better than the manky/tacky affairs these occasions normally are! I don't think a couple of strange requests would go a miss, you should see the kind of stuff I'm planning on making these girls do! Mwahahahaha! bounce2

We are all good on the tshirt front, think we are just going to do fancy dress to keep costs down, but thanks anyway. Have you guys got a theme this year? If it's good we will stick to it, if not, we will probably all just be fairies laugh3

Have another hen do the weekend before in Dorset aswell, and then a birthday in Avebury the weekend after for solstice, and then a cub scout thingie. June is going to be an expensive month, and one in which I am camping every weekend!
