your post says it all...

It was an amazing weekend and so glad I drove for insane hours to get there and back.

Nice to see so many HOP names belong to real people, and that they're all such a nice bunch too biggrin

now have a strange urge to find more sticks and play... or I could just sleep until the pain in almost every muscle dies away.

thanks again to all

I think for me it was either "coffeeeeeee" or "again?" when trying to work out moves and getting demos of them biggrin

That was quite possibly the best weekend i have EVER had!

Have spent part of today going 'That was soo COOL!' and most of the rest of today going 'OW'. Every single bit of me hurts, especially my bum thanks to Rob's capoeira thing. But now I can do halo rolls, and throwy things and nearly thread the needle with wraps (when my arms and knuckles stop hurting!), and nearly doubles butterfly

Thank you so much to everyone, you are all amazing! grouphug

It was so good, I don't even feel totally crap after having horrible classes today - now that is good!

Just one question.....When's the next one?!

i think we should have uberstaff one and uberstaff two in a year

so that at uberstaff one, you learn loads of new stuff then go away parctice

come back and then show some stuff, and then learn more uberstaff!

thanks to rob for the delicous ubercafe - those roasted vegetable sandwiches.....mmmmm.... yummmmmie smile

thanks to everyone who turned up, those who'd travelled the length & breadth of the uk, across the waters from france, ireland & finland, and of course the locals - was fantastic to meet you all!

still sore & shattered, tried picking up my staffs last nite when i got home (about midnight) lasted about 3 minutes and had to quit, otherwise i would have had to wrap my poor little armies in slings this morning.

Thanks for an awesome weekend guys! grouphug clap
Obviously a lot of focus and detail in the preparation and it lived up well to the Uber title. The workshops were brilliant, the food was lush, (and cheap wink) the party was fantastic, the venue perfect ubblove I've learned more than I could ever remember and was playing in the garden almost as soon as I got home.

Thanks to all the guys teaching and spreading their unique knowledge and skills, you have made massive impacts on lots of peoples lives this weekend, you should be proud and happy of what you have acheived.

Uberpoi?.......if it happens I'll see you there for sure! biggrin

It was great to meet everyone too hug2 I now realise that I know most of your names but not your HoP names so it's all still a mystery who you actually are! ubblol ubbrollsmile

as with hels, having thought i'd hang around a bit, be generally very impressed & inspired to try to start learning more staff than what i got from dave knox's beginners course however many years ago, then be told to p*** off and go shopping while the experts did their thang...

....i can't believe how much i learnt!!!
or maybe not learnt as in know how to do, but have understood and will practice and get biggrin

its been said many times, but:

massive thanks to all the teachers - you were so inspiring
yummy thanks to uber cafe rob tongue - i don't think we could have survived it without you
hugs & thanks to all the lovely people there for being so lovely grouphug

and especially big thanks to rob for putting the whole thing together hug

things i learnt over the weekend:

Strugz looks much younger in real life than in his videos.

Mech is just like Kit.

Dunc will do naughty things if you pay him. (minimum 10p)

How to pronounce Antti's name correctly.

Nate isn't a scarily short young looking adult, he is in fact just very young.

Fear-Tine looks nothing like he does in his videos.

Hoop Baton kicks much visual ass!

Ado-P didn't train in iron fist like he told me last time in was in edinburgh, but actually trained in iron jump kung fu. censored wink
