and I'm as nervous as if I'm walking into a bar full of strangers - so deep breath and here we go...

Just got into poi and i'm pretty crap but it's just such a buzz so gonna keep at it - who says you can't teach an old dog...

a good friend is getting married next august and she's told her mum I'll do fire! no pressure then.

I'm not v good at chat rooms n stuff, they scare me - in fact it's been 3 years since I last went on one but the guy who introduced me to poi is/was a HOPer so i reckon it's worth a try

dya know I was even worried about these fab little things I've seen on people's messages - right over my head i thought - and here they are on the screen - doh!

But now I can't get em on here aargh! 1 step forward, 1 step back.

Hopefully I'll look back on this and laugh in years to come!

We are the music makers, We are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;
We are the movers and shakers of the world for ever, it seems.

ubblol you may have a point there Kyle hug

The Livebox is the bit of kit that enables the wireless connection for my laptop and also free phone calls - i got the internet bit working fine, but when I restarted it to enable the free calls it didn't work. The Help Desk talked me thru doing a factory re-set but it didn't work, so they're sending out a disc - which STILL hasn't arrived mad2

Well, he loaded my super-duper Mini-disc thingy and transferred a whole load of Shpongle on it for me biggrin

And today I've managed to get bluetooth working from phone to pc, palm pilot to pc and phone to palm pilot! now I just gotta get something on my palm pilot that can read Mp4 and I can watch vids on it - phew! it's hard work all this technology lark!

Mind you, i had a sorting out day yesterday and I seem to have mislaid my passport eek and also lost the papaerwork and installation disc for the palm pilot and I haven't registered it either frown
