and I'm as nervous as if I'm walking into a bar full of strangers - so deep breath and here we go...

Just got into poi and i'm pretty crap but it's just such a buzz so gonna keep at it - who says you can't teach an old dog...

a good friend is getting married next august and she's told her mum I'll do fire! no pressure then.

I'm not v good at chat rooms n stuff, they scare me - in fact it's been 3 years since I last went on one but the guy who introduced me to poi is/was a HOPer so i reckon it's worth a try

dya know I was even worried about these fab little things I've seen on people's messages - right over my head i thought - and here they are on the screen - doh!

But now I can't get em on here aargh! 1 step forward, 1 step back.

Hopefully I'll look back on this and laugh in years to come!

sorry it's a bit late, it took my pigmy shrew army a while to figure out how to make the sauce... tongue

We are the music makers, We are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;
We are the movers and shakers of the world for ever, it seems.

Hey Lady!

Good to spend lots of time with you this weekend. I feel that the slightly derranged babbling we did the whole time may have spawned a monster. I've asked Bov for help with the board games. I can see strange huge weird stuff growing in various sheds, living rooms and workshops across the country. I still think its do-able though.

hug See you very soon

Can't wait to come over to Manchester and see Trippy hiding his modesty with a whisp of a beard. ubblol

Lynne, I think we've definitley got something here and without doubt it can't be anymore dangerous than hoop! Last count of bruises was something like this:

Inside right knee x3
Outside left knee x2 including 1 of 3 cm proportions
left elbow x 2
left shoulder x 1 humdinger
right shoulder x 1
but the ones that really shocked me are...
right waist/hip x 3 1 of humougous dark blue/black 5cm proportions

ouch ubblol

Flippin' 'eck girlie!

Have you taken up ninja death wiggle hooping or what? I've never managed to injure myself as much as you have with a hoop. Sure I get the odd bruise or two but a quick rub on of Arnica and they are gone in a day or 2. I've even managed a bit of a scuff on my shoulder but never have I ever split my lip or covered my self head to toe in bruises that are that painful!

Maybe I'll have to make you a padded hoop to play with, or maybe an all in one padded suit would work better ubblol
