so glad you finally started up your intro so i could be the first to officially welcome you to the redecorated HOP! you are a truly lovely spirited woman, and i am blessed to know you. i am most definately getting that tattoo once i decide on the final form, so you and i will forever be tied to each other, or at least me to you

things are hectic hectic hectic here since I decided a few weeks ago to move to Germany in January. I still want to do the ezine, and I could even manage to write an article perhaps, but I just don't have the energy to spare to organize things. I mean, I have to get two papers submitted to refereed journals, sell my car, bed, bike, and many other belongings, move out of my flat, and figure out how to fit my entire life into 20 kilos of luggage in the next 3 weeks before Spritie shows up and we start our tour of southern Africa for a month.
So basically I guess I should send off an email to everyone and tell them we should shoot for a february release or something? what do you think?

Vanize, I think that sounds good. There's no reason for the e-zine to have to come out before then. Plus, my finals are about 2 1/2 weeks away, so I'm not going to be able to do anything for the e-zine until those are over, meself.

Why not? Rats eat everything. Except possibly people, when they're fancy rats and you train them properly.
I used to have pet rats. They were trainable like miniature doggies, and would sit on my shoulders while I did my work. This was one of them:
