A nice pair to start with...
"These were my first set of poi and I learned all of my basic moves with them. I still practice with them during daylight but I now also have a pair of LED strobe poi for night-time performances (I'me working up the courage to do fire sometime soon hopefully!). They're nice and light but with enough momentum behind them to make starting out with them easy and not too painful. The tails are slightly long and would probably get in the way if you were much shorter then me (I'm 5'10) but they look very pretty at slow speeds. Overall I'd recommend these to any spinner whether starting out or just looking for a pretty pair of day poi."
