Hey there,
I made my own Isis wicks for my staff weeks ago but sadly I made a mistake and have to build new ones now. Therefore I have a question:
When burning the Isis wicks for the first time, you'll notice that the kevlar rope tightens due the heat and becomes a little bit looser. So I asked myself, is there a reason why no one burns the ropes before weaving the Isis wicks, so the rope tightens first and you can weave them even more tightly?
