My name is Alison (or Ali) and I am from Jasper, Alabama. I've always thought Fire Performances were so cool, but never really intended to start playing around with it, but low and behold one night of researching and it turns out that I already know a few very basic staff moves from being in the color guard all through highschool. And seeing as I've really been missing that physical activity, I've become obsessed. In fact, I just ordered a long fire staff and can not wait to get started. (I know it won't be the same as flag spinning, but it looks similar enough that I could pick up on it quickly. And obviously I do not plan on lighting it until I am used to the staff itself) Anyway, I know NOBODY who is into this kind of stuff so I would really like to make some friends to share this new-found hobby with. :)
