Hello hello, and greetings from the slowly darkening and by daily basis colder Finland! More accurately Oulu, a nice next-to-the-sea-city from the middle of Finland. So, I am Laura and this is my introduction:
I was born in Salo, a very eastern small town, 8th of May 1988, so I'm el toro. We moved to Copenhagen, Denmark in 1994 for my fathers job at Nokia and I spent there my firsth school years. Then we moved to Oulu, and I quite think myself as a genuine "oululainen". Now I am 24 years of age, a young woman trying to find her place in this hectic world of ours. I earn my money as a hairstylist, but dream of travelling through the whole planet, seeing amazing places, things and people and experiencing more than I can here in Oulu.
More about me: I enjoy making food and desserts, music in any forms, movies that give you something to think about (or the ones you can watch without your brain functioning properly) and my cat. Also the latest passion in my life, surprise surprise, poi's. I haven't even seen anyone spinning them before last new year's and then I decided to get one's myself too and start hitting myself in the head. Well, at least that's how the first few days went! I just got my pois a month ago and am on the veeery beginner-mode still. But being a stubborn taurus isn't that bad when you have an ambition to be TOTALLY AWESOME next year spinning the poi's in a real group and maybe even performing! And I wish to do it with fire, but for now basic socks are fine
More of the great loves of mine: all kinds of tv-series (Family Guy, The Community, Weeds, Madventures), movies and documentary films (The Fountain, Fear and loathing in Las Vegas, Perfume, Into The Wild, It's All Gone Pete Tong, Taking Woodstock, The Union...), all the colours of the rainbow, music (Pink Floyd, Infected Mushroom, Apparat, Satellite Stories, Cunninlynguists...), strawberries and cherries, silence and loud happenings, thunder, fall, and proper snow. And my so totally awesome white cat.
My plans for life in general is to make this life something I can look back to and say okay, this is how it should be spent. I want to do, see, hear, feel, taste and smell things I can remember the rest of my life. If I don't get alzheimers. But for now I will settle with working so hard that the travelling is a possibility, plan for the next big things every now and then and enjoy the smallest things of life.
