And the proud parents thread was actually because I constantly feel like my parents aren't proud of me since I threw away my chances to study law and my chances at being an elite athlete...I was hoping to find out why people are proud of their kids so I could wonder if maybe my parents would also be proud of me too

See, the popcorn started out as a reward for my minions to munch on while they watched me take over the world. And you get to feel warm and fuzzy knowing that you're supporting a peaceful take-over of bicycles (or unicycles, if you are so inclined) and object manipulation. I figure that people who ride bikes and play with toys are generally healthier and happier.
