Been "twirling" since: i got my good-ol sand bags from some hippys in airley beach! if that description fits you feel free to say hi! however my very first time was on school camp in NZ in grade 6. I then started "spinning" when I went to the UK and got teased for saying "twirling"
Occupation: recently returned aid worker

No electricity (gotta go to the yacht club for that)
No running water (drinking water in a tank next to the headmistress' house)
Bush toilets (flushing ones at the yacht club)
No post office (have to take a boat to the next island for that!)
Teaching English, maths, science, general studies (nutrition, health, tourism, hygiene) and being sports and drama coordinator.
Eating rice,lap lap, yams, taro and bush cabbage.
Rats and spiders as pets
Taking communion (interesting for an atheist who has never been baptised!)
