Been "twirling" since: i got my good-ol sand bags from some hippys in airley beach! if that description fits you feel free to say hi! however my very first time was on school camp in NZ in grade 6. I then started "spinning" when I went to the UK and got teased for saying "twirling"

Favourite Colour: royal purple! and of course red - but did i really need to say that one?

Favourite Quote/Saying: "Don't let the past remind us of what we are not now" - Crosby, Stills and Nash

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

I didn't used to burn much, but then ever since I got back to Europe I've burnt heaps.

I'm so pale I'm almost translucent! Well, except for today when I resemble a sleep-deprived lobster because I couldn't sleep last night due to the PAAAAAAAAAIN!

If you have some regular black tea...make a really strong batch...let it cool...and then soak soft cloths in it...and place them over the worst parts of the burn...which I'd imagine is probably your shoulders...but anywhere that's burnt...or if you want, run a tepid bath...and put a whole box of tea bags into the water...let it get into the water well...and soak away...the tannic acid in the tea pulls out the burn in your skin...makes you feel ever so much better...you can even use the tea bags for little compresses on your face...or lay back with a couple over your eyes...tea is wonderful for all sorts of things...

You know something? I don't think I actually have any regular black tea! ubblol

I'll see if my flatmates do and give it a try.

My manager at work last night said tomatoes were good at (stinging like hell) drawing the heat out...I vaguely remember Mum telling me this years ago. But it's all really difficult cos I need someone else to put stuff on for me cos I can't reach myself.

Just use the tea bags in the bath...works wonders...

I've heard of using tomato juice to get rid of the smell of skunk if you get sprayed...but never for sunburn... shrug

So im sitting here at work with tea-soaked paper towels on my shoulders.

And we're wondering if it's the tannin in the tea which draws out the burn...could I have a bath in red wine? Would be such a waste though!

ubblol Yeah, maybe you have a point. Maybe it's a good thing that I don't live there because I would be in a constant shade of burn. Anyway, I would miss the snow.

I know what you mean Michael (or should I call you Jarle?) If it wasn't for the freckles on my arms I wouldn't have any color at all. I swear I start turning pink just thinking about going out in the sun.
