So i did some spinning last night with the new staff i built.
I did the helix burn off and i think i started it too low....
My staff is 3/4in as opposed to my normal 7/8in..
So needless to say, my new staff rolls MUCH quicker then my old one...
The helix looked very big and as the staff was coming back down i noticed a cloud of atomized gas...
Then that cloud lit on fire right in front of my face, i leaned outta the way when i saw the initial cloud but WOW it must have looked cool. I'm going to try and replicate it tonight.

The same thing happened to me the other day during a show. I have no idea how I did it, or why it happened... I think it had something to do with the tempurature of the wicks when they were lit as they had already been used for a couple fo burns previously, so they would have been hotter... just an idea..
