Hi everyone
I'm a mum from a small school in Melbourne - Fitzroy Community School - and we're holding a fundraising event tonight (Sat 22) to raise money for the rebuilding of the school campsite, burnt down in the recent Black Saturday bushfires.
I've been trying to find a couple of fire-twirlers who might be kind enough to perform out the front of the venue as a greeting for the arrivals, and to honour the powerful element that has brought them there.
I'm so sorry there's no budget to pay anyone, but you would be needed for just 30/45 minutes, and I'd certainly make sure you got a couple of beers each at least!
The event is at ORMOND COLLEGE HALL, MELBOURNE UNI, and arrivals are from 7:30 to 8:15.
