Edit: A whole bunch of stuff has changed (moved to the UK, etc. I'm still male though) soooo... updated I guess

You can never head out, you're stuck here now
I took a 'bit of time out to travel and figure it all out' a few years back.. spend 2 and a bit years backpacking, figured nothing out, and now have no money at all.
Had a great time though, so who cares?

The Zombies and The Shins are great
I'll have to check out the other ones you've mentioned. If they are any similar I think I'll like them too.
And I don't think I'd argue with backpacking for two years either, haha. If I knew where to start I'd say that would definitely be my next move
