i have just discovered this whole new world of Poi....my wrists are sore, i think i will have some severe brusing tomorrow and its 1am already....what kind of world have i stumbled across...........?????
So this is me ( kinda)
And i was wondering to all out there who may read this, does it take long to figure this stuff out, is it like juggling?
or is it more a case of you have it or you dont??

What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow? would that be an africian or european swallow
Toys: balls and my hula hoop...oh and i just made some poi so this is my new fav. toy
Hobbies other than the obvious: this month its painting and salsa dancing
Education: yes i did my time
Favorite Book(s): cant decide
Favorite Movie(s): cant decide
Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why? Unless its Godzilla eveloution Version 8.1 i would go with Star wars Star Destroyer, I am not sure what that is but it sounds impressive.
Favorite TV show(s): cant decide
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) DECISIVE!
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: quite like that usa grunge from a few decades ago, folk music, guitar music.....
Do you think these pants make my butt look too big? yes remove them immediately
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): yummy ice cream
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?* whats Marmite? had vegemite once it was okay. So i suspose the answer is nutella, but only on its own.....unadulterated nutella spoons and spoons of uncut pure choc. bliss

It's taken me *years* to figure out what I do know of poi, (6 months for a 3bt weave anyone?) but different folks go different speeds, and so long as you're having fun, who cares?

as for videos...i would just check the lessons section here on hop! lots of stuff there!! or head over to the shop - you can buy all the awesome col dvds & other ones too & get lots of ideas & inspiration!!
