Well, if I dont start concentrating on learning it....never! biggrin

Ive been playing with it inconsistently for about a month now. Im only now getting comfortable with the 2bt chase/weave in reverse.

Something about going forwards hasnt clicked, as I just keep beaning myself in the back of the head or shoulders.

when I first started spinning, btb weave was like the holy grail to me. However by the time I learnt to do it backwards (about a year/ year and a half later) isolations were the holy grail.

You want to know how long it took others to learn btb weave?

Rubbish! Just tell the world you learned a difficult move (yes it is quite difficult!) and be done with it!!!

Be proud of what you learnt as it does take time and patience to learn any of these arts. But most of all persistence! There are moves that come to someone easily and others take longer. What's the point of comparing?

mmm....does it taste like chocolate?

after my last post I actually put some effort into it and managed to figure out the forward and backwards BTB. But until I get the transitions from one to another (aka 180 and 360) it doesnt feel right. I hate stopping a dance because of a need to change positions.

I learnt 4-beat thinking it was 3-beat redface

So technically is was a bit over a year before I was able to do 3-beat, but I was able to learn it (and reverse) in about a week.

took me about three months for backwards btb, another six for forwards, but that was a year ago and I'm still working on smooth transitions to and from btb moves

Surprisingly for me, I've been spinning for a week (not even regularly) and I've first done it today. Although I can't yet do it for as long as I want? I consider it a good result. Good enough to be able to include this weave in combinations...

I've been spinning for 4 days and I could do it yesterday, so....3 days! smile Although I seem to have become obsessed lol. When I first started it I did find it really hard, but after a few hours it was ok smile

Good luck!!

Ugh this move was for some reason impossible to me. It wasnt the concepts, it was just the fact that my arms got all excited whenever they startet doing it and would completely miss the other side of my back. I learned waist wraps befgore i could do a bhb weave. I guess it took me about a year... ha.
