My name is David Morrill; I’ve been on Home of Poi for a while but never introduced myself. I am a fire performer from Alberta, Canada. My web site is www.mpireoffire.com I have some video and pictures on that site and I would love to hear what other people think about them, good or bad.
I’m 23 years old and when I’m not playing with poi, fire, pyrotechnics, or explosives, I’m trading stocks online. I’ve been trading for 2 years….and still learning…without going completely broke, if you trade for a living or for fun, I’d love to talk to you.
Other than fire poi, fire breathing, and pyrotechnics, my main hobby is explosives. I am always searching for ways to make a bigger bang.
Another long-time interest of mine is astral projection and I am currently reading “Mastering Astral Projection” by Robert Bruce & Brian Mercer. It’s the most practical book I have ever read on the subject and I recommend it to everyone who is interested.
One of the things I would like to do in the future is to bring together undiscovered, talented, unique, and creative fire performers to create a fire performance team capable of delivering entertainment well beyond what common solo fire performances can do.
I live near Edmonton, in Alberta Canada, and I would love to meet other fire performers, as I don’t know very many in my area. So if you are in the area and want to spin or breathe fire with someone, please get in contact with me. Also, if you share any of my interests, or just want to say, “hi”, feel free to e-mail me.
