Hi to all you twirlers and HoP lovers!

I'm Malcolm's latest addition to the HoP family with my first day of work here at HoP today (Mon 16th Oct 06) and I see lots of fun ahead (as well as a huge learning curve)! I am totally new to poi so I hope I don't make too many dumb comments!

A bit about me then:

George McNeur, male, age... "enough"!

Family: wife Heather, 3 boys 12, 13, & 15.

Location - Christchurch, NZ.

working career: Electronics Engineering - 15yrs RNZAF, 6 yrs in Test/Manufacturing and 6.5 yrs network products R&D.

You can find out a teensy bit more about me/what I've done at these sites:

https://kiwisoldier.150m.com/now.htm#george

https://kiwionice.150m.com/

and my current main interest outside of work and family: https://aotearoakendo.150m.com/

So, looking forward to the journey, and meeting all you guys 'n girls.

cheers

George

Hey Holly - I haven't started yet - using some of my holidays while waiting for my new boss to get back from Oman. So of course the wife has me doing home renovations...

I start on the 8th Sep - 2 more weeks to go.

Now Mr Pat - are you talking about my beard or my armpit hairs growing down to my waist if you're not talking about my head hair??? Can't be talking about hair from below the waist growing UP so I is confuzzled...

Gidg - does nekkid moon dancing come with a requirement of hair down to the waist does it??

Nope nekkid moon dancing does not require long hair but we were talking about hippies and in my mind long hair and hippies go together. I know it's sterio typing but when I hear hippie I invision long hair, bell bottoms and tye die.

bell bottoms???!! eek my bottom sometimes makes noises (music??) but not really bell-like! lol2
tie-dye I actually could do - my favourite t-shirt currently are kind of tie-dye...
But I'm not sure I could do the hippy thing for very long - I'm more of a leggy thing than a hippy thing.
