My recruitment in [Old link] isn't going so well, so I thought I'd better take this to the social chat!
Your HoP family needs YOU!

) We suffered at the hands of an invasion only a few short months back, and we fought them off. But we can't be sure that the next attack won't be even more cunning than the last, so we need to be READY!

Mum, yes, that could have been taken as Russian Roulette. Russian Roulette is 5 empties, 1 bullet in one gun, spin the barrel, and shoot. (not blanks though, because blanks at that range will still kill you)
A firing squad usually has only one of the aiming shooters with live ammunition. The other 5 (or what) have blanks. That way, no-one knows who shot the killing shot. But also, because no-one knows who has the live round, everyone has to aim true.
At least, that's how I understand it to work. Probably different now with semi-automatic and automatic weapons.
Uncle Pogo, um, no I don't think you get to order around an admiral....actually I think that an admiral and a general are equals, just in different areas of the armed forces.

but if you need people for the front line then I throw a mean handful of Lime Jelly. Ask Paul, he can vouch for it
Personally i think it would be easier if our currency was lime jelly, would make it alot less complicated

ok... this time the japanese have gone too far... I wanted to go find you some japanese ice-cream, rougie... really, I did... but... but, they just don't "get it"...!!
if you're feeling brave and you have a strong stomach (preferably not within 30mins either side of dinner, if you're recent descriptions are anything to go by), do a search for basashi ice-cream...
