Ok, so the deal is, weekend meet, along the Wales/England border.
Dates: 29th Sept-1st October
Location: Court Farm Campsite , Llanthony, nr. Abergavenny for a minimal fee of £2 per person per night. 4 quid!! Two pubs within walking distance and a really old priory... Court farm have said they will cordon off half the campsite for camping and spinning, but no bonfires sorry!
All other information can be found on the wiki including a list of attendees definately and maybe, please add your name as soon as possible if you're coming because i need to let the campsite know!
Wiki is at borderpatrol.wikispaces.com. And contains also a space for arranging lifts. The nearest train station is Abergavenny and it's 15mins drive, so if you come by train at all, please put it on there, you WILL need a lift!
if anyone is coming by train, can you please please please let me know beforehand what time roughly you will arrive in abergavenny, because i am less than convinced that my phone will work!

yeah mike, the list was just so i could give campsite woman an idea of numbers, it's not limited to the list, but it also helps plan lifts etc and if anyone needs picking up for the train station (!!!!please tell me before hand if this is the case because there might not be enough phone signal for me to receive calls!!!!)
as for time of arrival... anytime you want really, the campsite is booked friday night and saturday, the idea was that people can go to work or whatever first and not take too much time off, but if you want to bumble along earlier, there should be no problem.
Pitman> cheers dude. We'll try and work out where is easiest to pick me up from, if i come straight from work, i can wait north cardiff somewhere, which might be quicker. How many people in the car? I wanna try and get rossco up too, but don't know if he knows about it yet...

any other workshops u want btw let me know i can get somthing organised.... Also if theres anyone who can give us 4 students a lift from glos area if not looks like we are catching the train and hiking up to the camp site shouldnt take to long ethier way cuz we are coming up earlyer i think

Anyone wanna do a bit of hiking actually? there's a nice walk up to the top of offa's dyke, along a bit and back down, takes about 3 hours... so if the weather's nice we can go and spin on the actual border on top of a hill! i'll bring a map anyway...

I Will definately be coming minus children, may be bringing a friend too. If lifts are needed for either you or rossy Non let me know. I'll head over after work (4ish) on fri. Can bring extra tent space if anyone needs it.

and a hike sounds like a good plan, we havnt been for a good hike since christmas in the valleys. plus i'm up for going anywhere i get to stand on a dyke.

*gasp and point* a rossco! hurrah! will let you know on the lift front becci, pitman also offered a lift, there may be more people needing lifts and there may be a preferable way of arranging people then... if that makes sense, i shall see...

ok... i don't know if anyone will be there about 4ish yet, but in case i'm wrong and someone will be, please pick mike and his mates up from the station
Mike, if the afore-mentioned hiking plan of yours is a no-go, and no-one is yet around, there is a pub not far from train station, go outwards left and then it's on the right, at the very least you can get a drink or something while waiting, i doubt i will get there before 4 so should still have phone signal then. Phone if you need rescuing, and i will send calvary as soon as 'tis possible.
for all> in case there are many more people arriving on the train earlyish, there are not very many ways of getting to Llanthony, there is a taxi option but it's about £15, or the Abergavenny-Hereford bus, but the closest that will get you is Llanvihangel, see map:

mike, there should be a map link in the first post, i'm sure i put one there, a proper one not just the campsite map, it could also be on the wiki, i can't remember, i'm sure i had one. if not i'll post another

MikefG - we could just call you hitman, that would be kind of cool, but then we'd get confused probably with pitman... could be a disaster all round.
