Well i'm pretty sure it's not a sea monkey. Being as they are brine shrimps and grow to slightly over a centimetre in length. And this is pink, mammalian and about 6 inches long.
It has four legs and a tail. It looks quite a lot like a naked mole rat. But they're not even slightly indiginous

Well it's kind of for that reason that i haven't taken a photo of it to show people. It's a wholly terrifying creature. Possibly why the townsfolks drowned it.
