Hi all!

Not my first introduction here but I have been away for some time and couldn't find my first intro thread

Oh well time to start over I guess

My name is Martin aka Budgie (don't ask ) and I first saw Poi at Glasto 2000. Bought my first set at Glasto 2001 and started to learn then. Unfortunately I am kinda lazy so sorta gave up after a little while as I did not know anyone else who spins and found it hard going learning on my own. Guess its hard to find inspiration on your own and the various HoP thread describing moves are kinda double Greek to me. I have gone through several learning spells but overall I'm still a beginner. I have also since learnt some staff and meteor and can sort of juggle and diablo in very small amounts!

I recently found myself with more free time (as my life has settled down somewhat after job/partner/living changes) and finally went camping for the summer solstice this year and met lots of spinners who sparked my learning of Poi again. (greets to anyone camping at the 9 ladies stone circle near Bakewell, Derbyshire UK)
