wave Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too.

Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.

Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing. biggrin

I'm not the biggest fan of extreme heat myself, South Africa gets too hot for my liking...but it gets stupidly cold here sometimes, that can be quite nice too, but not when it lasts for ages...

If worst comes to worst for play, we could probably rent a car, would end up costing a lot less than the train biggrin.

true, I would hire a minibus if we could get a few people, if we check the cost it could be worthwhile, I'm legal to drive one as I'm over 25 and like driving big things, it would take a while but for 5 or 6 people we could make the trip quite cheaply.
Me
You
Lee
Marie
possibly Simon
any other takers?

or we could see if we could rent a car for 1 day to go up (drop in telford)
then a car for 1 day back (pick up in telford)

Would be cheaper than hiring a car or bus for 6 days. (normally £20-50 a day plus petrol and deposit.)

surely you can get a week super saver as long as you don't travel on a friday or saturday... either way it's gonna be a lot, I think minibus or car hire would be best, mini bus would be an adventure, and probably cheaper on fuel. but rental cost may be more.. I'll have a look at prices...

...car it is then..unless you can find some more munchkins in need of a lift, you can fit loads of people in a minibus, like 14 or something innit?

That would be like a fiver a day each if you could get that many.

15 Seats in the one I looked at,

that's...£33.50 each plus diesel which wouold probably be about £10 each there and back

but the amount of stuff we would be taking 15 people would have NO room in the back....

a normal little car (punto size ubblol) is £1-20 for the 5 days = £40 per person + fuel (maybe £20-30 each)
total = £70 for travel + £35 ticket

looks like about £100 per person unless I get a car before hand shrug

So with 10 peeps It would be about £55 each (still cheaper and easier than a train)

How much does it cost to hire a limo and a driver for two days? ubblol
