The price matrix I'm asking for is $900.00 per pedicle screw construct. Still grosly inflated, but better than $1200. R&D is an overused excuse and I think it works well for pharmaceuticals or dynamic implants. But these are tinker toys, all the scary clinical dangers belong to the Surgeon. He's the one who should get paid extra for the danger of the surgery, not the sales rep.
