Hey all. Just thought id be polite and introduce myself
Ive been lurking around this site for ages and finally thought if join. I first wanted to start doing Poi after being at Glastonbury and watching for literally hours and hours when people did various fire arts in the stone circle. Out of all of them Poi appealed to me the most and i thought it was amazing to watch, looked like good exercise. I had such admiration for the people doing it and their skill and just thought...mmm i want to be able to do that.
I spent quite a while practising in the summer with some just some bean bag ones and seemed to be getting the basics. After summer i got busy with my courses again and just havent practised. Now im really determined to get into it again. Ive been having some stuff going on at home thats been getting me down a lot and i feel i need something positive to direct my energy into and to take my mind off things. So i jst got some LED atom style Poi and i love them
