Hello wave

Name: Molly (or Caro in a different world)

Age: 24, but it's my silver jubilee soon smile

Location: Lovely Edinburgh, oh it says that over there... But born and bred a Londoner.

Occupation: PhD student (entymology and bacteriology - ie. mash flies and see what's going on in their bellies. mmmm.) Oh, and part-time Queen.

Toys: BLUEBELL the most gorgeous blue blue tech ubblove Tulip my beautiful contact stick, poi and a sadly neglected devilstick. I think it had angel sticks with it somewhere (firey handsticks as well as a firey devilstick) but haven't played with them for so long.... and of course, young molly mole, who aspires to great juggling prowess, but is hampered by the shortness of her paws and the complete absence of the ability to hold anything with just one paw. She is the little furry blur that is my avatar, in her christmas incarnation as the mole of war.

Hobbies: Beltane Fire Society, the slack hippy calendar of my life. Dancing, most especially swing. contact girl is the way forward, if only I could get round the friction burns. Gardening, herbs and vegetables mostly. There's only so much you can do with a daffodil. Sewing stuff, costumery especially. Camping, brewing, jam and CAKE ubblove

Favourite colour (before anyone asks... you know who you are):

blue but yes pink is fine and dandy, it even tried to take over my world for a week in August when my little niece was born smile

um, that'll do I think...

oh one more thing,

I had the immense pleasure of meeting quite a few HoP-folk round and about this summer and if they are anything to go by, you are all beautiful lovely people hug

what a fabby place ubblove

now, tea and cake all round and cushions aplenty

I did manage to pick up a Bluecat and one Miss P, see a rather dissapointing Cirque and make it to NIPP and back, getting quite lost on the way.

So now it is bedtime for a grumpy and temporally challenged Molly

It was Wonderful beyond words thank you Mr pk.
I felt right at home, even got asked for directions in the street, went for a beautiful romantic dinner, had the best hot chocolate ever in the snow, had a picnic in the sunshine, taught mercirans to spin stick, celebrated my un-birthday Most enthusiatically in an Indian restaurant with Rbmnyc and Dee, toasted the new year in with a glass of mead, ate myself silly with food from miriad nationalities, was given a beautiful hoop and a dreamy blueblue aerotech staff, met 'the family' (oo that makes them sound like the mafia, they were very nice really)...

And fell in love all over again every morning.

Bliss.

I hear congratulations are in order for you and your young lady. We were thinking of you all that way away and hoping all was going well. Better than we had expected aparently!

Such a feeling.

hug "NYC" didn't do the honourable thing then huh!... slacker.

I was thinking all last week if he would confused .. it was strange me out there knowing you were in NY too... on a similar mission of romance.

Actually NYC can call me slack... Serena did the asking.

I am so glad you enjoyed your time there and with the man himself.

How was NY?... big! i really wanna go there one day, for once i actually did some thing i have wanted to do for years and that is go abroard when i say im going to, the past few times i let myself down. mad2

How do you feel now mol?... i hate it.. i hate being back here and i hate being apart... tonight i cried for ages and it has only been 3 days.

So glad you had a good time... "both of you". hug

but pk, you are a bad man, no pissing off my NYC round here thank you very much. Go do the honourable thing of quite a different nature please.

How do I feel now?

A bit overwhelmed to be back in the midst all the things I have to do this year - third year PhD stuff mostly.

Disconcerted to feel that I am away from home when I return to the place that I have lived for so long.

But as for the crying for ages, only at the airport on parting. The relief of not having to wait four months to see NYC again; the joy that on this parting we knew when we would be seeing each other again; the peace of having spent a fortnight together and feeling so close all make me feel happy and certain and reasonably patient.

Of course I would rather us be in the same place. But whilst NYC wasn't here to hug me when I got scared of the bins banging in the wind last night, his spirit wrapped me up and kept me safe.

ubblove

Oh I feel like I've been completely soppy writing all that. Must be too early in the morning for me to remember not to gush.

Chin up pk, when you seeing the lovely Sere next?

New York was fab, and yes it was big but not at all intimidating as I think I had expected it to be. Maybe that was my London upbringing kicking in though. NYC obviously lives in the coolest bit, but whether that was cause or effect, who can say wink

The architecture is stunning, so much so that I was gazing upwards most of the time walking about - wee bit dangerous that. There is the opportunity to do anything, and Eat anything as I discovered. You'll have to come and visit us biggrin

OK,

now I need to get this grin up out of bed, fill it with hot cross buns and take it to work.

Oh and beautiful lady V - I don't think I have congratulated you on bubba chicklit. Best of luck and love to all three of you. It really is a very exciting world, isn't it? grouphug

you have a nice way of putting things into perspective mol.

back in camaiore is was overwhelmed with the openness and nothingness there, just mountains and picturesque scenery, long open roads to enjoy driving around visiting many of the towns and villages. Such beautiful and old archetecture of the buildings and churches. In pietrasanta there was some magnificent sculptures, one of which was of unicycles, i was taken back in awe, 2 adult forms and a baby on one wheelers.

The sad day of departure was so hard, i dont think i stopped crying until i landed in milano. I know that i will be out there living in camaiore in less than 2 months time and it is not forever i have to wait but still feeling so much love and romance with some one so special is hard to spend that time apart.

nyc.. hug you really do like annonymity on these boards dont you. if that was the right word to use, you know i love you!. hug.

PHD.. long hard slog of work ahead then huh, i have much to do too i have my whole lifes possetions to sell before i can move any where, its all very reluctently done though, when you feel that you have spent so much time working to afford the niceties and comforts in your own home and then to start all over again some where new.

Right now ado is right there is so much love and romance on these boards and it is a lovely feeling to know so many people are finding happiness.

Maybe now that i converted serena from a civilian to a twirler she may join these boards too confused

anyway i have to get my arse back to work too right now.

hope every one will have a bright and beautiful day today.

No. I really like my job.

I've explained before that I can get in serious trouble if I'm at least not TRYING to remain anonymous. A parent could very easily claim that I was setting a bad example. And in my opinion, they'd be right.

There was also the "Piss off NYC just for the sake of pissing off NYC so that I can brag to everyone how easy it is to piss off NYC so that I can seem popular" movement, which grew tiresome.

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.
