In Germany you would be mad to miss Voov Experience (very large and international) and Antaris Festival (still very large but very German).

In Greece there is usually a slew of festivals most failing to happen, however the king of them being Samothraki Dance Festival, but I've heard its been running steadily downhill since its inception. great lineup, great venue, everything else is questionable.

try to check out festivals in Belgium, I've heard they are cool - there are some nice ones in Switzerland and Austria and a few in Poland I think (although I think they are more techno than Trance). Holland has some nice parties, but I dont remember any outdoor festivals in holland.

As far as I can tell, Spain, France and Italy dont really allow good trance festivals...

Mysteryland in the Netherlands is good, here's the site, but it's in Dutch

https://mysteryland.id-t.com/mysteryland2004/

Outdoor gig, attendance 40,000. 21 of August 04, it's a 1 day event but goes on for 24 hours. A bit techno-ish and trancy, as are most dance events on mainland Europe. Tickets are eur55.25 and are available online from https://www.ticketbox.nl

If you're looking for something a little more alternative then I'd recommend Lowlands, a 3 day event with music, theatre, film, also in NL.

Ooohhhh I can't wait for festival season to start biggrin ubbrollsmile biggrin

My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely smile

all the ones I mentioned were trance.

go to www.goatrance.de and then go to the party locator. It has a listing of more parties than you could possibly go to. You will find the parties are mainly german, but thats cuz most of the big festivals happen there.

Germany and Belgium seem to be the only countries in the world where big festivals arent being clamped down on / busted by the authorities regularly. although Brazil has a lot too (but the scene is a bit younger there - take that how you will).

have a good one! smile
