Right so i'm trying to polish up my forward weave, but i seem to not be able to follow thro with my left hand, the right hand go's up the left fine but the left just swings under the right if that makes any sence at all?
I had this problem when i started doing the weave and fixed it but somehow i'm doing it again, this time i have no one to watch me and tell me how to mend my ways!
Can anyone help?

left arm is always retarded (unless you are left handed of course).
without knowing which side you are having the problem on, all I can say is to count out the beats on each side as you spin. there are 3 beats on each side. For the forward weave each beat corresponds to each time a poi hits the bottom of its circle - two for the hand that is on the oposite side, and one for the one on its own side. for example:
1. right arm crosses to left side on downbeat going over left hand
2. left arm comes to left side and hits its downbeat.
3. right hand makes second beat on left side as left hand comes over and begins cross for the 1 beat on the right side.
just concentrate on counting 1,2,3 on each side instead of thinking about what you are doing physically.
for reverse weave (or any reverse manuever), the beats happen on the upswing.

I'm right handed and i think its the left that wants to be lazy, but i'm gonna try the 1,2,3 thing and stop thinking so much I will fix this

Get hold of some sock poi and do it with your eyes closed. You should be able to feel when you're doing it correctly as it flows very smoothly. Then concentrate on ironing out the problem areas, don't tense up and be as relaxed as you can be.

There is a slight possibility that I am not actually right all of the time.

Ah the old left arm problem again
I allways practice with left alone, and when I get the movement right I throw in the easy right arm.
But still that takes a lot of practice, so I think you'd better get used to your left arm, since the alternative isn't that great.
