whilst spending last winter on the beach I go to know a girl called Marie , now during the day she was doing fine with the ribboned poi's and seemed to being enjoying her self. Then one night she decided to move to the fire poi's. She didnt seem to be to worried by the flames, you could even say she didnt realise they were their , this became most obvious when she caught the top of her hair alight and continued to twirl. Now to the crowd this was a new and welcome trick .until we realised the flaming danger on her head was serious and rushed to put her out. luckly she was not burnt (due to the fact that beach hair is unafected by mear parafin flames). over the course of the summer I saw this trick repeated twice but not to so much dramatical effect.
