I started practicing this today. I'm not sure if anybody does this, or how to describe it really, but I'll tell you what I did.First of all, lie on your back with your feet in the air. Put the handles on your big toes. The problem with spinning poi with your toes is that they can't make flat circles because you can't easily curl up your toes (well, I can't yet), so the chains get caught on your feet. This means that I couldn't do the butterfly or even do a plain forward spin. However, when you spin them from side to side you're twisting your foot, so they don't get caught. That's what I was doing today. Not actually the full weave yet, just swinging them from side to side. It's a bit different, so I was wondering if anyone else has ever used their feet to spin or if there are more moves others have thought of. This idea only came to me today, so I haven't worked on any transitions from hands to feet, but I was thinking it might be similar to swapping the poi over like a one-handed butterfly. It could be cool to start twirling with your feet, put them into your hands in a crouching position, then do a roll to get back up to your feet. Of course I have to practice rolling to, but I thought it might be an interesting variation for your routines.Comments?

Very funny Scotty, now beam down my clothes!
