Great Product and Service
"I thought the online ordering was easy and my poi arrived within the stated timeframe. I love the durable construction of the LED poi and the easy on-off feature of the light. The only thing I would change is to have the ability to lock in a color rather than have it continually changing."

"first off let me tell you that these are great!!! they are pretty well weighted for lighter poi they glow relatively brightly and have a pretty good battery life... one of the draw backs is the position of the switch: it's the only hard plastic piece on the whole head and let me tell you IT IS HARD!!! i smacked my self in the face one time and it gave me a bloody lip :( and the only other draw back is that it uses batteries. the lr44's around here are pretty expensive (about $15 for 6) and the idea of throwing away the batteries as apposed to a rechargeable glow head seems a little unfriendly and wasteful but so is burning gallons of kerosene in one day... if youre second guessing your self about buying these little guys dont they are worth every penny and are a blast to spin with. BUY THEM!"

Once again an excellent product..
"Good size and weight and much kinder on the body than the hard balls.. The only improvement could be if they actually held all the colours a bit longer the only colours that realy show are green purple and blue.. otherwize fantastic !!"

A muhc different dance
"So I've been around firedancers for a while now. I've used torches before but I'm no good with poi. So I decided to get something slightly more unique and playing to my strengths. I found the rope dart to be surprisingly intuitive. It's a much more dance than the double fireball spinnery of poi. I'm very satisfied with it and if I wear it out I'll get another one no question. Somehow I get the feeling it isn't perfect but what is? So far I have no complaints. As for the Monkey fist over cylinder Monkeyfist all the way. I like the round ball and the slight extra weight. Looks fantastic when freshly lit and doesn't hurt to hit yourself with it."

Oval Twist Weka fire poi thoughts.
"They soak up a lot of oil to burn a long time. I am very happy with the quality of the Oval Twist Weka poi. They are a good balanced weight for me. Not to light where I'm flailing around like a chicken but not to heavy where I couldn't control them. Balanced. I also use them to spit fire with as part of my shows and they stayed lite while being twirled. That says a lot. I really enjoy them and they got here 2 weeks before my show instead of a week. Which makes it even better. I had time to practice and enjoy them. Thank you."

"i haven't been able to have a good go on these yet for it has been too windy for me to use them however the colours are great and makes a lovely noise. only problem i've been having is that the ends of them keep hitting me in the face. i think it will take some time to get used to them."

I agree with some of the other reviews of the nylon flags that the leading edges are a bit on the long side but I'm very pleased with them. The noise from them isn't as imposing as I was expecting from nylon and the weight though lighter than I expected is good for the size of the flags. I saw the organza flags that HoP has and I'm considering getting a set of those next."
