If you put out a hat they might not feel so wierd about watching. It's like an invitation to them from you. Plus you make $$$ for refreshments when you're done.

I don't realy like the cable type. They don't seem to untangle as easily as (regular) chain. I haven't used bead chain but, I imagine it's better than cable.

To combat the tangling problem...Couldn't you attach a swivel to the area that you would normaly grip and then some sort of short "handle"? Or would that not work very well?
