I like curling up with friends and reading our separate books, quiet for hours except for intermittent moments when something one of us reads sparks a comment or flurry of conversation.
I like trading massages with friendly people.
I like that scary amazing feeling right after an oral argument, when I feel like I really did just hold my own against a panel of judges.

i really like being goofy and silly with my dog
i like playing chess
i love talking with my friend and realizing how much i love them and have grown from them
i love receiving emails from long ago seen friends and feeling their warmth
i like knowing that i have done my best in a situation
i love really warm climates!
i like daring activities, sometimes even life-threatening
i like sunsets and quiet time to myself
i dont like shoes which means i love to be barefoot.... errr... everywhere... even work, much to their displeasure

I like it that Bovril Monkey still remembers the other one

I love it when you meet someone and then forget that there was a long period in your life were you had no idea this person exsisted.. the feeling of togetherness is so strong.. almost like you were never apart.

i like it when i'm somewhere where there are no man-made objects for as far as the eye can see, and the only sounds are those of birds, running water and a gentle wind through the trees.
i like it when i get drenched in a rainstorm on my way home, then spend an hour soaking in a nice hot bath.
i like the expression on my mams face when she learns a new poi move.
i like it when reading a thread like this makes you realise how many wonderful and warm people there are out there...

I like reading words of other people and realizing that we're all connected...reading things that make you go *Yeahhhhhhh! totally!* like they took the words right from your mouth! like this thread (thanks Cass you sweety! ) So aswel as all those things everyone else has mentioned....
I like sitting with someone and not feeling a need to speak... just a comfortable, harmonious, silence
I like touching moss in a lush forest (it's all fuzzy and soft )
I like driving in convoy
I like finding the first blooming flower on the Jasmine vine and smelling it's SO amazingly awsome fragance
I like when I'm alone in public and I think of something funny, which makes me laugh and everyone around thinks I'm a nutter...hehe
I like that spot on the end of the rock jetty, where I can talk to the ocean and the wind and the stars and the moon...without anyone there to hear my words...:*
I like spotting dolphins in the bay!!! Always puts a smile on my face!

i love talking and being around people who are really passionate about the same things as you, or even if they're passionate about something you don't really know all that much about, and the energy and excitement of these people when they share their passions with you.
i love just sitting and watching stuff that people generally just take for granted, like the way sparrows fly together and seem to know where they're all going at sunset

the reaction I get from school children when I end my 17th Century Scottish clothing demo with the word "naked."
running a weapons drill and interpreting to the audience at the same time.

and especially when Natalie holds me in her arms and purrs.

...logging on to HOP after a few days and stumbling into a thread full of global smiles, warm fuzzy feelings and another reminder that the world isn't such a bad place
...saving the last bite of something and making it full of the best bits - mmm
...the tingly feeling on your cheeks when you go inside after a snowball fight
...silence with those people you know so well just a look or a touch conveys the thousand words you could say if you wanted to!
...belly aching laughter over a great curry

I'd like this thread to get carried on, although it may have been written on by all of you, it deserves revival!
I like staying in at the weekend with a good movie and a room that smells of freshly burned out candles
I like hiking 10 kilometers at 3am in Austria to see the sun rise over the mountains next to a lake
I like hiking to a gorgeously cold waterfall on a 42 degree C day (that's hot for us English) in Austria
I like watching the sun rising on a field/quarrey/wood full of party people
I like memories
I like liking my life for what it is and being thankful for what it is
And although I rarely admit this, I like the bad times too because they always get special again
