I've been rooting around this place for a few weeks now and it never fails to impress me. Quite simply I love it. I bought my first staff a few months ago and last night I finally set it on fire. Now I am truly hooked for life. What a blast, and I only burned myself very slightly.

So hello everyone!!!

not a clue
I'm certainly not called Freddy

I blame the gay poet among us

but far more importantly...
how was it?
did you have fun?
did you spin lots?
were you suitably soppy?
how long til you're here?

it was

unbelievable, to say the least

up at 4:30am to catch flight into amsterdam. did the right thing and stayed up for 24 hours, wandering around the streets in various stages of, dreamy happiness, dazed coldnes, blurry fuzzy warmess, more coldness, trippy happy giggliness, talky chatty wakefulness and more than a fair share of soppiness ubblove

slept a half day sat and went to utrecth to see all the lovely dutch spinners. great night, great food, great spinning though not much. mots contact juggling is unreal

we decided that the best way to make sure i got my flight was to stay in and smoke on saturday night. so we did
(sort of). and i missed my flight.

was worth it though smile

so here i am in work after flying in today.

to say I am in a heap would be understating the matter.

I am however, smiling.

possibly even grinning.

And you my dear, I will see on thursday with any luck at all. If not then on friday saturday sunday monday or tuesday

biggrin

although i am highly sceptical of the validity of the fred postulate due to the lack of supporting experimental evidence...

i've never even met a spinner called fred, let alone one that makes me go eek

I never know

miss bell is fine though I've been a bit too stupidly busy to play frown
molly has come into work today dressed up as a worm
she is hoping to infiltrate herself into the box of mealy-worms and wax worms that my supervisor has just had delivered. What she'll do then is anybody's guess.

you're conducting 'expermats' now are you? tongue
Bring me a hypothesis and a protocol and possibly a literature search and Then we'll talk smile

"P" ah yes the age old pause problem. a hairs breath is all that is required.

Call me Aidan when I arrive other wise im bound to be wondering around gormlessly and not hearing you.

I never new i walked around with a gormless look until my lady told me in holland. I thought i was just lookin at stuff. ubblol She wasnt wrong about me not listening though. And when im walking things like direction and destination are optional extras that are only more likley confuse the situation if I have to put to much thought into them.

"what do you mean where are we going? i dont know smile "

Please say hi to molly for me and feed her something wriggly and squishy

she doesn't eat the wriggley things!
she just sits them on her lap and looks at them quizically smile

ok, Aidan it is
and you must call me Molly

I'll take the science-me back to the lab.
I still want a literature search, but I'll give you your null hypothesis for you
"The nominal description of a spinner as "Fred" has no effect on the perceived or actual spinning abilities of said spinner."

perhaps the effect is only seen once the birth certificate has been changed though...

raisins are loved by one and all, but most especially mollys (or is that mollies)
there's a song about it, or wsa that Tigger... confused

and I think elephants should be fab at spinning with a nose like that. But maybe not so much when they're stuffed

Yes, definitely.

It's what Bond always meant to say - "martini, spun, not stirred. And none of your sloppy plane control..."

You'll want decent clothes and stuff for the ben in winter - it can be quite serious up there with the scottish weather smile But depending on when you're doing it (and whether it would be totally ludicrous...) I'd love to come play biggrin I might even have proper maps and stuff.
