Hello fellow spinners! My name is Hilary and I'm new to the site. I just recently started spinning and love it! My friend from school who is amazing at fire poi started teaching me how to spin, she let me try with fire and surprisingly enough I didn't burn myself OR anyone near me! I was pleased and fire poi is now my goal
I love spinning and find it very therapeutic. Whenever I'm having a stressful day I just start spinning and everything seems to get better. Here is a little about me

Birthday (sign?): 5/4/88 Taurus (and yes I am VERY stubborn)

Occupation(s): Call center rep (bleck!)
Favorite Food(s): uuuuuhhhhhh...pineapple, Chinese, Thai.
Favorite Color(s):Pink, yellow, green
What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow?
-What do you mean...African or European?
Toys: My car
Volkswagen Passat. Her name is Layla and YES I listen to Eric Clapton while driving her.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Skiing, reading, Swimming, friend stuff.
Education:
-finished college and I have a degree...but now that I've reached that I've figured out that isn't what I want to do with my life. So I'm seriously considering going back to school for a degree in Business Administration.
Favorite Book(s):
-The Rosetti letter, almost anything by Linda Fairstein.
Favorite Movie(s):
-Remember the Titans, Stardust, Princess Bride, Fight Club
Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why?
-hmmmm I'd have to say the Star Wars Star Destroyer because it would be able to mount an attack from orbit before Godzilla even knows it is there...although this doesn't even matter because as can be seen in the Ultimate showdown (of ultimate destiny) the true victor is Mr.Rodgers (in a blood stained sweater)
Favorite TV show(s):
LOST, Wild Roses, The Deep End, CSI, The Big Bang Theory
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up)
- Honestly I'm not sure of the specifics but I do know that I like being in charge and behind the scenes talking to people who know what is going on...as opposed to customers who usually don't but assume they do.

Composer: Vivaldi
Other: Disturbed, Seether, Chicago, The Wallflowers

Hmmm, red carpet treatment, eternal salvation, nutella abounding, AND an army of squirrels. I think I'm gonna like it here. Thanks guys! I finally found my home made poi balls so I get to start practicing again. I was super stoked when they turned up. a week without balls is a week too long in my book.
