Encyclopoidia might not be the best thing to call your definitions.

Well I signed up and I got a confirmation email.

I clicked the registration link and it said the key was wrong. I tried a few times but it didn't work. I tried logging in and it didn't know I was registered. So I decided to email the help email:

"Error! Something is wrong with the key you provided. email spherculist@spherculism.net if you need any help. "

and I got a permanent failure back from the email.
Also the gallery wanted me to set it up when I looked at it... like it thought I was the admin and the gallery hadn't been set up yet.

Also the video preview doesn't work. I think you need to work on this site more.

I'm reasonably certain this site predates Jons Encyclopoidia.

Spherculism died a little while ago... is it coming back??

The normal https://www.spherculism.net/
is a message about everything being dead.

Either this is Matt bringing it back or someone found an original test, since everything seems to be populated.

I would like confirmation one way or another from Matt first.

And yes, this predates Jon and Zan's DVD by quite some time.

'We're all mad here. I'm mad, you're mad." [said the Cat.]
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "Or you wouldn't have come here."

I messaged Matt a couple of months ago after visiting the link Aston posted and when he replied it sounded like he might have been working on the site. Hopefully this post means that Spherc might be coming back online sometime soon.

For any of you that came after the time of Spherculism, I would say Spherculism was THE place for technical poi discussion back when it was still active. That's where Rev originally posted his manifesto and a whole lot of old school tech was shared and worked on in a really open setting. I feel that if it wasn't for Spherc I wouldn't be half the spinner that I am today so the idea of a revitalized Spherculism is pretty exciting news to me. Any other Spherculists out there remember those days?

I was not into tech poi at the time, but I browsed a bit once people drifted away a bit.

It scared me. I think I can handle it now, and would welcome something similar. smile
